Assistant Financial Analyst

Role Overview

As an Assistant Financial Analyst at Growth & Investment Agencies Ltd, you will support our finance and investment teams by performing financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting. You’ll help evaluate project viability, track portfolio performance, and contribute to decision‑making across our direct‑investment engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, sensitivity analyses) to support investment appraisals

  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analyses for senior management

  • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, board presentations, and due‑diligence materials

  • Monitor portfolio company performance against KPIs and help produce performance dashboards

  • Coordinate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data integrity and timely close processes

  • Conduct ad‑hoc analyses (cost‑benefit, scenario modeling) to inform strategic recommendations

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, or corporate finance

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas)

  • Familiarity with financial‑modeling best practices and valuation techniques

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; attention to detail is critical

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to summarize complex data clearly

  • Experience with financial‑reporting tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • CFA Level I (or higher) candidate or equivalent certification

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and data visualization

  • Knowledge of direct‑investment structures and blended‑finance instruments

  • Basic understanding of accounting standards (IFRS or US GAAP)

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; proactive and client‑focused mindset

Compensation

Salary Range: USD 50,000 – 60,000 per year
