Junior Strategy Coordinator
Role Overview
As a Junior Strategy Coordinator at Growth & Investment Agencies Ltd, you will work alongside senior strategists to design and implement high‑impact growth initiatives across diverse African markets. You’ll coordinate strategic planning processes, conduct in‑depth analyses, and ensure seamless execution of client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate development of strategic roadmaps, workshop agendas, and stakeholder alignment sessions
Collect, validate, and synthesize primary and secondary data for strategic recommendations
Maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, and manage cross‑functional deliverables
Prepare executive‑level presentations, financial models, and market‑entry frameworks
Facilitate client workshops, capture insights, and translate feedback into action items
Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure strategy feasibility and compliance
Monitor project budgets, flag risks, and propose course‑correction measures
Support due‑diligence processes, including vendor assessments and competitor benchmarking
Drive knowledge‑management initiatives: curate best‑practice templates and case libraries
Act as liaison for external partners, data vendors, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Strategy, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent from a top‑tier institution
Minimum 5 years of consulting experience at a Big Four firm or premier strategy boutique
Proven track record leading end‑to‑end strategy engagements in at least two African markets
Exceptional financial‑modeling skills in Excel: DCF, LBO, and scenario‑analysis proficiency
Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, with published dashboards for C‑suite review
Certified Strategy Professional (CSP) or equivalent credential from an accredited body
Demonstrated ability to draft client‑ready board presentations, whitepapers, and policy briefs
Native‑level fluency in English and at least one major regional language (e.g., French, Swahili)
Experience designing and facilitating multi‑stakeholder strategy workshops and offsites
Deep familiarity with public‑private partnership frameworks and FDI regulations in Africa
Strong quantitative aptitude: comfort with large datasets, regression analysis, and econometric tools
Background in project management with PMP or Prince 2 Practitioner certification
Track record of publishing or presenting research at industry conferences or academic forums
Demonstrated expertise in competitive‑intelligence techniques, including primary interviews
Solid understanding of ESG frameworks (e.g., IFRS S2/S3) and sustainability‑linked financing
Ability to lead small teams, mentor interns, and manage mixed‑seniority workstreams
Established network of contacts within government agencies, DFIs, or industry associations
Experience with advanced analytics tools (R, Python) for market‑sizing and forecasting
Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time across multiple remote field sites
Unwavering attention to detail: zero‑error deliverable record and peer‑reviewed work products
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Experience in digital‑transformation or automation strategy projects
Familiarity with GIS or spatial‑analysis tools for site‑selection and market mapping

Compensation
Salary Range: USD 70,000 – 90,000 per year
